Updates Carlos and Alicia Scott

Dear Friends,

We hope you are well, and we wish you a happy new year 2024

We are grateful to God for everything we have experienced this year and how God has helped us in all aspects. We are grateful to God for all of you and your constant love. Thank you again for walking together in unity and serving all ethnic groups so that God is known and worshiped, that his blessing brings transformation and evil is defeated through the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

This new year 2024 begins with new challenges. Carlos will be traveling to Chile to give some conferences for young people at CIMA 2024. We will also have the opportunity to preach in argentina at the Pontevedra church and celebrate the sending of a field worker to Malaysia. We will continue writing about the gospels for different networks and work with pastors to rethink and deepen being disciples of our Lord.

We ask you to pray that God gives us health in every aspect and wisdom to share the gospel. We pray for all of you and we love you. May our God be with us and be glorified and adored. Happy new year 2024

Merry Christmas

In Christmas:
angels speak,
an old woman has a son,
a virgin becomes pregnant
a priest remains silent,
the king is mocked,
the peasants receive the news from heaven first
and God becomes human in a poor, migrant and marginal child.
THE IMPOSSIBLE IS POSSIBLE.

With the incarnation the beauty of God reappears on earth. It is the manifestation of the splendor of God. God has not limited himself to letting himself be felt. He has been seen. He has made a face. His name is Jesus.

Merry Christmas

Dear Friends

We hope you are well. We always thank God for you. We thank God for everything he allowed us to experience in this month of October We were able to be in the city of Cordoba teaching and preaching at the missions conference of the Baptist Church. It was very significant to see the enthusiasm in the young generation and also in the adults when thinking about the Kingdom of God and a church planting movement. We thank God for this church and its commitment to the mission. Later, Carlos was able to teach an entire young generation that is preparing to serve God as field workers in different places. It is a school of mission and church planting. They are young people from different cities in Argentina with a heart to follow the Lord. Carlos also had to travel to the city of Neuquen to give the pastors and leaders of the city a workshop to rethink the church. The topic was A Church Relevant for Our Time. He also had to preach at the church's missions conference that he was invited to. We thank God for a very young couple finishing their training phase to go serve Jordan. In addition to all this we are united to a movement of prayer and church planting in the Basque Country in the language of the Basque heart. Our son, his wife and his son are guiding this movement and working in unity with other field workers from different countries. In the month of November Carlos will be in the city of Bahia Blanca giving a seminar for pastors and leaders and preaching at a church missionary conference. Pray for us so that God gives us health, spiritual freshness and grace at all times. Pray for a church planting movement in Argentina and among unreached people groups globally. Pray for the Bonhoeffer project in which Carlos participates along with a group of pastors to see a movement of disciples who make disciples and a multiplication of churches at a national and global level. We pray for you and again thank you very much for serving together and united in the Mission of God. We love you and send you a big hug.

 Dear Friends

We hope you are well and encouraged in the Lord
We thank God for your lives and for being united in God's mission.

Thank you very much for your prayers and for walking together in this task. During September Carlos was able to be in the city of San Luis and teach at the mission congress of the quadrangular church in Argentina. Carlos was also able to teach at the Logos Seminary in Peru and help pastors and leaders.

We ask for your prayers for the upcoming commitments that we will have in the month of October. These commitments will be in the city of Cordoba teaching at the Church Planting School about the Kingdom of God and the mission. Carlos will also preach at the Baptist Church Congress in the city of Cordoba and then must travel to the city of Neuquen in another province to teach and preach to the pastors and leaders of an evangelical denomination that is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Pray for our physical, spiritual and emotional health. Pray that our God will take care of us on our journeys and give us the right word for every opportunity in grace, truth and love.

We pray for you and we love you.

With a strong and big hug,

Carlos and Alicia Scott

ANONYMOUS HEROES

ANONYMOUS HEROES The person who has influenced my life the most spiritually for good was my mother. With her as a child I met God, and in my adolescence and youth between mates and coffees in the kitchen at home, her master classes on the life of Jesus marked my life forever. Her Bible is underlined and marked with comments, and she has a notebook of her personal reflections on the gospels that is worth much more than any book you can find in any Christian bookstore today. I really mean it! She influences every positive aspect, and not only me, but many. But she doesn't have social networks, and she has a very anonymous profile. However, her influence knows no limits. The truth is that we should rethink that she is “discipling” and making disciples according to the gospels, and to a surprise, perhaps, she is often very far from our ecclesial programs. The positive influence to follow in the footsteps of Jesus can be as natural, diverse, beautiful and anonymous, as my mother is. “And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.” (John 1:37) Daniel Brian Scott
