SERVICE IN THE CHURCH OF BROTHERS OF BENAVENTE

Thanks to God during this summer time we are serving in this beloved church through preaching and helping in prayer meetings. Pray🙏🏼 for the church of Benavente and its growth.

DISTRIBUTION OF BOOKS

Daniel continues to distribute a book of poetry and another on the life of Jesus in different towns and cities in the region of Castilla y Leon and in this way continues to sow the gospel in this land. He also had very good conversations with neighbors of Benavente and the city of Leon who received the two books. Pray 🙏🏼 for these people and for new opportunities

TREATMENT OF IKER

The month of July was difficult in terms of Iker's adaptation to the new place. He also had his crises, but we continue to trust in God and in His plan for his well being in his life. In August we will have to travel to Madrid to do a medical study and to have a consultation with his immunologist. Pray 🙏🏼 for Iker's life, and the financial support we need for the medical study and the trip.

RETURN TO THE BASQUE COUNTRY

At the beginning or middle of September we will return to the Basque Country. From Benavente until now we could not travel any weekend to follow the meetings in the town of Orio for lack of economic resources. We would like to do it in August if we have the opportunity. In September Iker will return to school and new challenges await us to continue sharing the gospel with the Basque people. Pray 🙏🏼for the return to the Basque Country, the meetings in Basque in the town of Orio, the life of Mariaje, Iñaki, Aitor and for the church planting movement in Basque in the Basque Country.

Dear Friends,

It is a joy to greet you and we hope that you are well

In a special way we want to thank you for your love, your prayers and everything you do for us. Thank you very much for accompanying us, being of great help, being united with the same purpose.

We thank God for the month of July and everything that has happened. We thank God that we can be instructors in Perspectives of the World Christian Movement for all of Latin America and Spain. Carlos was able to teach the biblical part to the Perspectives movement in Panama. We continue to advance on other lessons and help so that we can continue to see a movement of disciples who make other disciples and form new communities of Faith. We are developing processes and trying to see how they can work in Latin America and that they can be inspirational and models that can help cross-cultural workers reach unreached ethnic groups throughout the world.

In August and the coming months Carlos will be teaching several Perspectives lessons in Buenos Aires, then he will have to give conferences in various places and much later in other months he will travel to Chile. We continue writing and forming disciples. We continue the meetings in our house and in two other houses in greater Buenos Aires. We call these new churches that are being formed the Communities of the Way. Please continue praying for us, for our physical, spiritual, and emotional health and that God free us from all evil. Pray that we have wisdom and discernment in each presentation of his word and spiritual freshness. Please continue praying for our grandson Iker who is autistic, his physical health and his parents. May the Lord guide our lives and fulfill all his purpose.

Updates Carlos and Alicia Scott

Dear Friends

We hope you are well. We thank God for their lives and for their prayers. We pray for all of you and are always grateful to the Lord for all his blessings.

We also thank God for everything we experienced this past month of June. Carlos was able to be in Paraguay and help as an instructor in Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. We are also very encouraged with the house churches in Argentina. They are the communities of the road. Our God allows us to encourage, comfort and make disciples. We always dream and continue working with a movement of disciples of Jesus Christ who reproduce and form new communities of faith. We often share the Lord's Supper and relationship with each other. There is a lot of need in people who experience different needs. On the one hand we are reaching leaders and brothers in the faith who need a different space to grow and affirm themselves as followers of Jesus. On the other hand it is a space for others who need to live in a space of trust, love and hope and be part of a community of faith.

Pray for these meetings in homes so that others know the Lord more and his name is glorified. Also pray for the participants of the Perspectives course in Panama and Central America. Carlos and other instructors will be giving the biblical perspective. May the Lord raise up a new generation of field workers. Also pray for Argentina in the face of social, political, economic and spiritual problems. Pray that God's blessing reaches all of Latin America, that evil is defeated through the Kingdom of God and the name of our God is recognized and worshiped. Pray that God guides us in everything and we can continue serving his people in Latin America. Pray for our lives so that God frees us from all evil, for our physical, emotional and spiritual health. May we share the life of our Lord Jesus Christ as his disciples.
