 Friendship on mission 

“There he found a Jew named Aquila, who was from the region of Pontus. It had been a short time since Aquila and his wife Priscilla had left Italy, as Claudius, the emperor of Rome, had ordered all the Jews to leave the country... Afterwards, he said goodbye to the members of the church and decided to go to the region of Syria. Priscilla and Aquila accompanied him” Acts 18:2,18. 

It is very good to have friends and as the saying goes "through thick and thin". Paul was able to experience this with Aquila and his wife Priscilla. Priscilla and Áquila were already followers of Jesus Christ and from there began a strong friendship with Pablo. They worked together, they encouraged each other, they knew how to listen to God, they did not give up, they trusted God, and their friendship took them further to continue sharing the gospel through what the Spirit of God showed them step by step. How good, very good it is to have friends on God's mission! Paul wrote: "Indeed, they once risked their lives for me," Ro 16:3-5. We give thanks for their lives, for friendship and for being companions in the fight. We can say the same thing about all of you that Paul said: "Thank you very much because you are risking your lives for all of us, you encourage us, pray and take care of us so that God's blessing reaches everywhere, your name is known and adored and evil defeated"

We give thanks for this month of August and for all that we were able to teach in Peru through Perspectives from the Global Christian Movement. Thank you so much for your prayers. This month of September has new challenges and Carlos will be traveling to San Luis in Argentina to teach and preach at the conferences of an evangelical denomination. Then Carlos will also have to go to the city of Cordoba and teach and preach at the conferences of an evangelical church. We ask for his prayers so that God protects Carlos' trips, and pray for our spiritual, emotional and physical health. We pray for all of you and we love you.

Through the sale of his book (poetry with rhymes in Basque and Spanish), Daniel continues to share the gospel from town to town. Thank God he was able to have good conversations about faith with different people and on many occasions I pray for them. There is a possibility of starting a discipleship in Basque with a young man from the province of Vizcaya thanks to the contact of a missionary friend.

ART AND TRAINING

Martu started an online Screenwriting training and his goal is to have tools to be able to produce different content. Basque classes will continue in the new September course. Daniel continues to write and sing raps. His next song and video clip in Basque about his testimony will be out soon.

THE HEALTH OF IKER

Iker finished the school year very well and continues to go to therapy to help him develop. After having done several medical tests, we found the diagnosis of an important immunological problem. The blood result shows that Iker has a virus and his immune system does not react to fight it. Therefore, the doctor recommends a very expensive treatment of subcutaneous immunoglobulins with the aim of activating their defenses.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

- For our physical, emotional and spiritual health.

- For the development, health of Iker, and the provision for the new medical treatment.

- For our financial support.

- For the Community of Faith in Basque Kale Argia, the work team (Joxan, Pili, Garbiñe) and the new challenges ahead.

- For the people who in different towns are receiving the book.

- For the young man that Daniel will be discipling God through.

- For a revival of the Holy Spirit in the Basque people.

Hello friend! We are grateful to God for his faithfulness and because he has sustained us up to this point. In this letter we tell you our latest news and reasons for prayer in the Basque Country. COMMUNITY OF FAITH IN BASQUE “KALE ARGIA” Thank God we continue to meet on Thursday and Sunday afternoons and recently we have resumed face-to-face meetings at home. At each meeting we praise God, we share the Lord's table and we have a Bible study in Euskera (the heart language of the Basque people). Our vision is to share the gospel and see an indigenous Basque church planting movement in their language. Updates Carlos and Alicia Scott

 Dear Friends

We hope you are well and encouraged in the Lord. We thank God for each of you and for being united in God's mission. We give thanks for the past month of July and for all that God has allowed us to do. Thank you very much for your prayers that gave us strength, freshness and wisdom at every step. 

Carlos was able to help the Perspectives movement in Chile and its start this year. He was also able to travel to Paraguay and give different lessons on Perspectives of the world Christian movement in the intensive course for field workers, pastors, leaders and professionals. Carlos recently arrived from Bolivia and has been helping the Perspectivas movement by teaching the Biblical part in the cities of Santa Cruz, La Paz, Oruro and Cochabamba. We thank God to see so many brothers advancing in the field work and how this number continues to increase. We thank God to see a movement of unity in the People of God in favor of the least reached and unreached with the whole gospel. 

This month of August also presents other similar challenges and this time it will be the Perspectives virtual courses. Carlos was able to teach in Panama and very soon he will do so in Peru in his virtual course. Perspectivas will also be showing Carlos' recorded lessons for Costa Rica and Chile. Pray for the participants of these courses and that God's blessing extends to each ethnic group, his name is known and adored and evil defeated through the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Pray for us so that God gives us spiritual and physical health. Pray that God gives us freshness in each presentation and wisdom.

Thank you very much for being united and advancing together in this movement towards the nations. We pray for you; we thank God for your lives, and we love you.
