Dear Friends,

We thank God for this time that we have to live and be united with each other in God's mission. Thank you very much for your prayers and constant love. We thank God for the visit of Mike, Paco and Tim. It was a very special time where we were able to share life and celebrate it. We are always grateful to God for all this love and quality of service from all of you. All of you encourage us to continue focused on God being worshiped in all ethnic groups and his blessing can transform societies and evil is defeated through the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Thank you very much for all the expressions of love from the entire church of Elmbrook Church

This month of November is ending and once again grateful for all the service we were able to provide in the city of Bahia Blanca having several conferences, workshops and consultations with the pastors, leaders and churches of that city in Argentina. We are also grateful to God for the progress of the course Perspectives of the world Christian movement in Latin America. We thank God for all the devotional writings that allow us to reach hundreds of brothers and churches. Grateful to God for the missionary movement in Latin America and the advancement of his Kingdom in the Basque Country, Spain through the planting of new churches.

This coming December we will continue working with a group of pastors on the topic of discipleship. Continue praying for us and may God free us from all evil, give us health and spiritual and emotional strength. May God give us wisdom to continue helping and mobilizing all the People of God towards all ethnic groups. We pray for all of you and we love you

Dear Friends

We hope you are well. We always thank God for you. We thank God for everything he allowed us to experience in this month of October We were able to be in the city of Cordoba teaching and preaching at the missions conference of the Baptist Church. It was very significant to see the enthusiasm in the young generation and also in the adults when thinking about the Kingdom of God and a church planting movement. We thank God for this church and its commitment to the mission. Later, Carlos was able to teach an entire young generation that is preparing to serve God as field workers in different places. It is a school of mission and church planting. They are young people from different cities in Argentina with a heart to follow the Lord. Carlos also had to travel to the city of Neuquen to give the pastors and leaders of the city a workshop to rethink the church. The topic was A Church Relevant for Our Time. He also had to preach at the church's missions conference that he was invited to. We thank God for a very young couple finishing their training phase to go serve Jordan. In addition to all this we are united to a movement of prayer and church planting in the Basque Country in the language of the Basque heart. Our son, his wife and his son are guiding this movement and working in unity with other field workers from different countries. In the month of November Carlos will be in the city of Bahia Blanca giving a seminar for pastors and leaders and preaching at a church missionary conference. Pray for us so that God gives us health, spiritual freshness and grace at all times. Pray for a church planting movement in Argentina and among unreached people groups globally. Pray for the Bonhoeffer project in which Carlos participates along with a group of pastors to see a movement of disciples who make disciples and a multiplication of churches at a national and global level. We pray for you and again thank you very much for serving together and united in the Mission of God. We love you and send you a big hug.

 Dear Friends

We hope you are well and encouraged in the Lord
We thank God for your lives and for being united in God's mission.

Thank you very much for your prayers and for walking together in this task. During September Carlos was able to be in the city of San Luis and teach at the mission congress of the quadrangular church in Argentina. Carlos was also able to teach at the Logos Seminary in Peru and help pastors and leaders.

We ask for your prayers for the upcoming commitments that we will have in the month of October. These commitments will be in the city of Cordoba teaching at the Church Planting School about the Kingdom of God and the mission. Carlos will also preach at the Baptist Church Congress in the city of Cordoba and then must travel to the city of Neuquen in another province to teach and preach to the pastors and leaders of an evangelical denomination that is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Pray for our physical, spiritual and emotional health. Pray that our God will take care of us on our journeys and give us the right word for every opportunity in grace, truth and love.

We pray for you and we love you.

With a strong and big hug,

Carlos and Alicia Scott

ANONYMOUS HEROES

ANONYMOUS HEROES The person who has influenced my life the most spiritually for good was my mother. With her as a child I met God, and in my adolescence and youth between mates and coffees in the kitchen at home, her master classes on the life of Jesus marked my life forever. Her Bible is underlined and marked with comments, and she has a notebook of her personal reflections on the gospels that is worth much more than any book you can find in any Christian bookstore today. I really mean it! She influences every positive aspect, and not only me, but many. But she doesn't have social networks, and she has a very anonymous profile. However, her influence knows no limits. The truth is that we should rethink that she is “discipling” and making disciples according to the gospels, and to a surprise, perhaps, she is often very far from our ecclesial programs. The positive influence to follow in the footsteps of Jesus can be as natural, diverse, beautiful and anonymous, as my mother is. “And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.” (John 1:37) Daniel Brian Scott

 Friendship on mission

“There he found a Jew named Aquila, who was from the region of Pontus. It had been a short time since Aquila and his wife Priscilla had left Italy, as Claudius, the emperor of Rome, had ordered all the Jews to leave the country... Afterwards, he said goodbye to the members of the church and decided to go to the region of Syria. Priscilla and Aquila accompanied him” Acts 18:2,18.

It is very good to have friends and as the saying goes "through thick and thin". Paul was able to experience this with Aquila and his wife Priscilla. Priscilla and Áquila were already followers of Jesus Christ and from there began a strong friendship with Pablo. They worked together, they encouraged each other, they knew how to listen to God, they did not give up, they trusted God, and their friendship took them further to continue sharing the gospel through what the Spirit of God showed them step by step. How good, very good it is to have friends on God's mission! Paul wrote: "Indeed, they once risked their lives for me," Ro 16:3-5. We give thanks for their lives, for friendship and for being companions in the fight. We can say the same thing about all of you that Paul said: "Thank you very much because you are risking your lives for all of us, you encourage us, pray and take care of us so that God's blessing reaches everywhere, your name is known and adored and evil defeated"

We give thanks for this month of August and for all that we were able to teach in Peru through Perspectives from the Global Christian Movement. Thank you so much for your prayers. This month of September has new challenges and Carlos will be traveling to San Luis in Argentina to teach and preach at the conferences of an evangelical denomination. Then Carlos will also have to go to the city of Cordoba and teach and preach at the conferences of an evangelical church. We ask for his prayers so that God protects Carlos' trips, and pray for our spiritual, emotional and physical health. We pray for all of you and we love you.

With a strong and big hug,

Carlos and Alicia Scott
